What is Specialist Disability Accommodation?
Specialist Disability Accommodation is a category of housing designed specifically for NDIS participants who have extreme functional impairment or very high support needs. These homes are purpose-built to improve accessibility, support independence, and enhance quality of life.
Who is eligible for SDA housing?
To access SDA housing, participants must have SDA funding included in their NDIS plan. Eligibility is assessed by the NDIS based on individual support needs. If you are unsure whether you qualify, we recommend speaking with your Support Coordinator or NDIS Planner and we are happy to guide you through the process.
What types of SDA homes do you offer?
We offer a range of purpose-built SDA homes across four design categories to suit different levels of support need: High Physical Support, Fully Accessible, Improved Liveability, and Robust. Contact our team to find out which category is right for you.
How do I apply for an SDA home?

Vastplan SDA Homes provides the accommodation itself. Daily living support services are arranged separately through your chosen support provider, giving you the freedom to work with the people you trust.
